Colosseum
Also known as the Flavian Amphitheater, Colosseum is one of the most impressive structures of the Roman Era. Lately due to natural reasons, now the structure is in ruins. Still it attracts plenty of visitors because of the beautiful sight of the amphitheatre. The structure was constructed under the rule of Emperor Vespasian who was the founder of Flavian Dynasty. The structure could accommodate more than 50000 thousand spectators and for the smooth flow of the spectators there are 80 entrances. Gladiators were made to fight each other or with wild animals inside the Colosseum and this act were viewed by emperors and general public.

Circus Maximus
This was the first stadium constructed in ancient Rome. Chariot Races were hosted inside this stadium and now the stadium has been converted in to Public Park. The stadium at a single time could accommodate up to 150,000 people. The stadium was also used to host combats between Gladiators and other events like processions.

Trevi fountain
Located in the Quirinalle district, Fontana di Trevi or Trevi Fountain was constructed in the year 19 BC. It is one of the most beautiful fountains in the world. There is a myth about the fountain that if you toss a coin into the fountains over your shoulder, you would return to Rome.

Vatican Museums
Clement XIV and Pius VI were instrumental and the founding members of the Vatican Museums. It is because of them that the collections were made open for display to general public. Palatine Hill
As per myths, the city of Rome was found in this hill in 800 BC. The city was found by Romulus after defeating and slaying his twin brother Remus.

Villa Borghese
The largest park in Rome was created in the 17th century. Inside the park there are temples, fountains, statues and a Lake.
