Colosseum Circus Maximus
Also known as the Flavian Amphitheater, Colosseum is one of the most impressive structures of the Roman Era. Lately due to natural reasons, now the structure is in ruins. Still it attracts plenty of visitors because of the beautiful sight of the amphitheatre. The structure was constructed under the rule of Emperor Vespasian who was the founder of Flavian Dynasty. The structure could accommodate more than 50000 thousand spectators and for the smooth flow of the spectators there are 80 entrances. Gladiators were made to fight each other or with wild animals inside the Colosseum and this act were viewed by emperors and general public.
This was the first stadium constructed in ancient Rome. Chariot Races were hosted inside this stadium and now the stadium has been converted in to Public Park. The stadium at a single time could accommodate up to 150,000 people. The stadium was also used to host combats between Gladiators and other events like processions.
