Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach: Famous for its black sands, this beach is not good for swimming due to strong currents and high waves. But, for visitors who have never seen a black sand beach, it can be worth exploring. Another good reason to be in this region is its proximity to the Road to Hana. It also offers some beautiful views that include sea caves, rock formations and the unique natural features of its surroundings.

Napili Bay Beach: This beach is mainly used by guests of a resort located close to it. Some visitors have voted it as the best sunset beach Hawaii offers for its tourists. Waves of ocean can be quite high during winters, making it difficult for swimmers to have a dip in the waters.
