Beaches in Barcelona...

Sant Sebastià: This sandy beach covers a longer area and is great for people with limited mobility. They can enter the waters without any worries and have a nice time on beach as well. Favorite among old-age groups, there are many leisure activities that can be enjoyed while in this area.

Barceloneta: It is a traditional beach of Barcelona, with its own unique character. Locals and tourists visit this beach to enjoy vast expanses of sand. Nova Icària: This beach is extremely popular among families and is located close to Port Olímpic. Whether it is sports or any other activities that visitors want to indulge in, there are several facilities provided for the purpose.

Bogatell: Created for 1992 Olympics, this 600-metre long beach is preferred by the older generation. Beach volleyball or table tennis can be enjoyed by visitors and there are several restaurants that serve delicious treats for them.

Mar Bella: Popular among the younger crowd, this beach serves as a perfect weekend getaway. It was created during the coastline redevelopment process for Olympic Games of 1992. Variety of water sports like kayaking and sailing can be enjoyed while on this beach.

Nova Mar Bella: It is popular among women and they constitute more than half of its visitors. This beach also has an area for the disabled and is equipped to help people for getting in and out of water. A quiet environment prevails on this beach which is liked by many of its visitors who spend much longer time on it.

Llevant: Newest beach on the coastline of Barcelona, this beach offers essential services and facilities for visitors. It was created in the year 2006 with certain amenities such as information centre, adapted showers and sun loungers.
