Peru Holiday Packages

Is a land of Colourful festivals, extraordinary stone cities, Incan ruins, colonial mansions, gold museums, mysterious markings on the desert sands, and religious temples. Renowned among surfers as one of the longest waves in the world, enthusiasts flock to Puerto Chicama for the intense rides made possible by its long lefts. It's considered a great place to surf, with conditions for beginner and experienced surfers alike. Peru offers lots of scenic views. One of which is the Paracas Beach. Enjoy its cool water and its fine sands and have a chance to encounter pelicans that roam along the beach. Paracas Beach belongs to the desert peninsula Paracas.

Peru's El Misti Volcano, at 5,821 meters above sea level, is an impressive sight hovering over the horizon in the mountains near Arequipa, Peru. Thought to have had religious significance to the Incas, El Misti is popular with climbers, with two routes to the top. Located on the border between Peru and Bolivia, Lake Titicaca is the world's highest navigable lake. Don't miss the floating islands of the Uros tribe a people who live their entire lives on the surface of the water on man-made reed islands. At 2078 meters, El Cerro Blanco is the world's tallest sand dune. Located near the city of Nazca, about 445 km south from Lima, El Cerro Blanco is considered the 'Holy Grail' of sand boarding dune riders. Trujillo & Chiclayo, "The Northern Kingdoms" are the home of the great Chimu and Moche civilizations and heart of Peru's colonial folklore traditions. Northern Peru is the site of the country's most important ongoing archaeological digs. Visit to the pristine Amazon rainforest, the world's last great frontier in Peru. Manu reached by air or overland from Cuzco, is one of the best areas for seeing wildlife anywhere in the Amazon rainforest. There is an abundance of monkeys, turtles, giant otters, peccaries, capybaras, tapirs and even the stunning jaguar. Macaws and motmots, toucan and curassows are part of the rich bird life.

The Manu Reserve is almost completely untouched by civilization. A national park and a world heritage site, this region encompasses lowland rainforests to high Andean grasslands. Manu is legendary for the accessibility and spectrum of its wildlife. The Amazon port town of Iquitos is situated in north eastern Peru, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Iquitos can be reached by jet flights from Lima, Cuzco and Arequipa. From Iquitos, visitors can explore the incredible rainforest by taking an adventure river cruise or by staying at a jungle lodge in the area.
